How are the payouts assessed?

The SpecialShare+ coverage in comprised of two sections, Part A and Part B.

Part A payouts are made immediately on the basis of a listed diagnosis (each condition has specifics on how that diagnosis should be made).

Part B is meant to cover everything else, and these payouts are assessed on the basis of a comprehensive developmental test which your child should take when he or she turns 2.5 years old, i.e. 30 months (or as close to this age as reasonably possible).
